Run, don't walk to hear this year's MICMC held over 7 days in July. It was a real honour to be part of the audition panel with Wilma Smith and Caroline Almonte for this talented group of 14 ensembles competing for the Grand Prize, and a lot more besides.

The inaugural offering for this new series at my favourite venue, featuring the music of Bach, Lee Bradshaw, Caerwen Martin and Sofia Gubaidulina. Joining me for some sacred Bach chorales will be Marcus Ho, Henry Say, Jeannie Kim and AJ Singh. A special shout out to Mark Millward who is supporting this series with a complimentary glass of sherry and other tasty treats at the end of the recital.

I'm thrilled to be performing Beethoven Sonatas with British keyboardist (and conductor/director/composer) Chad Kelly whose infectious energy is something to behold. Playing on historical instruments (fortepiano and harpsichord), we delve into the revolutionary and rhetorical sound world of early and middle period Beethoven with a fresh and improvisatory approach

Australia's favourite cello quartet perform Classics, jazz, rock anthems, original music and more in a riot of cello goodness. Not to be missed!

Firebird Trio returns to the iconic Hawthorn Town Hall for a candelit concert in homage to the composers of Vienna - Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss and Kreisler. Words and letters read by ABC Classic broadcaster Alice Keath.

Music for Reflection brings together the peaceful and soulful solo works of J.S. Bach, echoed in solo and ensemble works by Australian, Swedish and Estonian composers. With Sulki Yu (violin), Rob Cossom (percussion) and curated by Rachael Beesley.
